Thanks to the financial support of the Open Society Fund B&H and with their approval, funds for certain activities that cannot be realized in emergency situation in the current project are relocated for mitigating the consequences caused by the COVID 19 virus within Roma communities and support to women in the form of emergency humanitarian interventions. On that occasion and as part of this support, our organization in with available funds, procured and distributed food and hygiene packages for 40 Roma families in Tuzla, Gracanica (Skahovica) and Lukavac. Through these activities, we continues to support women, especially those from marginalized groups, and this is in special compliance with the AP UNSCR 1325 for the period 2018-2020 and is within the medium-term goal 2.3. “Improved gender-responsive approach and support systems in the context of current security threats and challenges and contributes to achieving the expected result 2.3.2 Created preventive measures and established conditions for gender-responsive access to current security threats and challenges, and in crisis and emergency situations through support activities for women and girls, especially members of multiple marginalized groups, in cases of crisis and emergency.
