The General Women's Cooperative "Better Future" participated at the conference and fair in Visoko, entitled "Green Economy in Bosnia and Herecgovina-Opportunities and Opportunities".
More than 100 participants and exhibitors visited the Conference and First Green Economy Fair in BiH in Visoko organized by the Heinrich Boell Foundation and the Visoko Municipality. The event was opened by the mayor of the municipality, Amra Babic, recalling the great potential for the development of the green economy and green jobs of this country: "Our chance to keep people in BiH is through the development of green economy and jobs in this area," Babic said .
Green jobs, high ecological standards and developed green economy are something that is already present in Germany and good examples from the practice of that country can be transferred to BiH. Moving and developing the production of small businesses, family businesses, farms is what has been the trend in the country over the last years, said deputy German Ambassador to BiH, Christian Sedat, turning to the present at today's event.
The high unemployment rate remains one of the most pressing problems in BiH and the increase in employment should be a key political and social priority.
