Although the Women's Cooperative "BOLJA BUDUĆNOST" Tuzla, p.o. is registered on 16^th May 2016 in the Municipal Court of Tuzla and the tax administration of Tuzla Canton with identification number 4210238250004 with location in street Meše Selimovića 85 City of Tuzla, the idea of its establishment started more than 3 years ago. Throughout the time, the Roma women association "Better future" Tuzla, was a partnership organization for the project of economic empowerment of CARE International Balkans, through which over 30 Roma women are supported to start business like greenhouse and other forms of production.

For us, in BOLJA BUDUĆNOST, the economic empowerment of Roma women was not just a project of increasing the chances for employment, but a direct investment in the strengthening of economic and social equality of these hardest employable and marginalized groups, Roma women, who are exposed to double and triple discrimination as Roma women, as women but also as the poorest categories without any chances for the future.  Until the establishment of the Cooperative we went a long way, it was necessary to strengthen our beneficiaries, it was necessary for the first time to initiate land lease / assignment procedure, for the first time a Roma and female Roma organization entered the process of establishing and registering Cooperative. Today, almost a two years later, we can proudly say that we have succeeded.

Our production started in June 2017 and currently, the Cooperative has five employees on the employment contract using the incentives of the Federal and Cantonal Employment Service for the Roma and Roma women Employment and Self-Employment Program.  The cooperative in the lease has 13,9 dunum land, of which the co-operative owns 6 greenhouses per 100 m2. In the first year, it is produced over 4 tons of vegetables tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers in and on the open we plant potatoes, onions and beans.

The Cooperative owns machines such as: water pumps, moto cultivators, aggregates, vegetable and fruit spraying pumps, small drilling machine for raspberries, cargo vehicle, trailer vehicle.

Although we are less than a two years old, we can provide the following services:

• Land treatment
• Maintenance of the yard
• Drilling holes for raspberries
• Production of vegetables from greenhouse production and outdoor production
• Sales and placement of vegetables
• Passenger transport
• mowing the lawn

Ecologically grown food is incomparably better and more natural, and contains more vitamins, minerals, enzymes and other micronutrients than conventional foods. In addition to protecting human health, the unprecedented advantage of eco-food also consists of preserving the environment because such production does not pollute the air, soil and water, thereby ensuring better living conditions for our descendants.
